District Cub Camp 2009 The theme of the camp was Robin Hood, there was some wonderful sights to behold – Peter Hall (true to form) couldn’t resist getting his green tights out of mothballs….. and Paul Taylor made a wonderful Friar
Tuck…. the weather was perfect and it was great to see so many happy smiling faces over the weekend. 150 Cubs plus leaders took part in shooting, archery, canoeing, Robin’s cart race, crafts, backwoods cooking
    the list goes on…

There are lots of thank you’s so here goes – to the Fellowship and Steph (9th) for setting up and manning the obstacle course, ‘Sergeant Major John Broady’ was excellent at putting the Cubs
through their paces!!! to David (46th) and Steve (42nd) who built the most fantastic camp fire ever and to everyone who ran bases or took charge of groups. Also to the two Ian’s (master chefs) for sorting out
lunches on Saturday and Sunday. It’s weekends like this that makes you realize what a fantastic privilege it is to be part of this game called Scouting….
