District
At District level we put additional events through the year to support Leaders and units. These include:
- DESC – Our Annual camp for Ormskirk Explorers, normally in March
- DESA – A Camp in Autumn that gets out in the Great Outdoors!
- Challenge Cup – A permanently running competition that requires the minimum of thought!

County
Our County (West Lancashire) put on a wide array of events through the year, from walking weekends to international experiences for Explorer Scouts. To discover more, check out www.westlancashirescouts.org.uk or ask your leaders. These events are open to everyone in the County, and your unit normally finds out about new items every month. The most excellent Ardennes Adventure (a 10 day trip to Belgium for Explorers) and County Explorer Scout Camp (with around 500 people!) are not to be missed!
National
