By signing up as a marshal you are agreeing to the rules below:
- Catching teams are of 2-4 adults with one car per team. Drivers must be over 21 and you are driving on your own insurance.
- Every Catcher must have received DBS clearance.

- Catchers Must Have Day-Glo on the Upper Left Arm, Reflective armbands provided, A Timepiece, a catchers card and a pen
- The catch: A Team is caught when the rucksack of a team member is tagged. The Team gets 2 minutes to surrender their life card. The Catcher will complete the life card. The Catcher will also record the catch on his/her own card. The team cannot be caught for 30 minutes by any catcher or by members of the same catching team for a further 1 hour. Do not trail teams or add on anytime to the teams because they have plenty of time to get away. Do not track teams using social media/WhatsApp/location tracker on your own children.
- Runners and Catchers Must follow the country code and not trespass on private land.
- If you catch a team and the team or an individual wants to retire, they lose a life, and you ensure that the safety phone team has been called. Stay with the retiree (not on a 1:1 basis) until a safety bus arrives.
- Be aware of approaching teams by a road, railway crossing, canal etc even to check on their welfare and do not attempt to catch in areas where young people may put themselves at risk.
- When you do catch a team, please be courteous and check their welfare and encourage them to carry on.
- Please have 1-2 members of your team return here at 8pm to help set up for the finish.
Remember to read the rules which can be found on the download page.
